Has social media got you in a spin? With all the talk of algorithms, stories and hashtags you might not know where to start in using it for your business. Or maybe you are currently using various social media platforms for promotion, but know that if you just had some help and pointers in the right direction you could step up your social media game.
This one day in person class is designed to help give you confidence, teach you new skills and help inspire ideas, so that you leave with a bounce in your step and ready to go for the year ahead.

A bit about me
My name is Charlotte Jacklin and I have ran 4 different social platforms for Betty for five years and have the most wonderful online community that I cherish and brings me lots of joy. Alongside this, I worked with top brands and designers since 2009 (Lulu Guinness, Paul Smith, Topshop, and Ben Sherman) in their social and marketing teams. Since departing the world of traditional work, I have been lecturing at UCA for three years teaching digital marketing within Fashion to many students. I have also worked with many freelance clients to help define their online presence from top Mayfair hairdressers to an organic dog food company.
How will the day run?
You should arrive at 10:30am for an 11am start, the workshop will end at 5:30pm. There will be an hours lunch break and two tea breaks. I will send out detailed information about how the day will run nearer to the event time. Tea, coffee, water and snacks will be provided, lunch will not be provided however there are lots of lovely places to eat near the venue.
What will I need?
A phone with a camera
Sufficient memory for taking photos and download new apps
An external charger / phone lead to ensure you have enough charge for the whole day
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No, I just need to see your e-mail confirmation and ID.
What is the refund policy?
All tickets are non-refundable.

13 Camden Passage, London N1 8EA. The nearest tube station is Angel (Northern Line), it is also a ten minute walk from Highbury and Islington (Victoria Line).
Is my registration/ticket transferable?
Your ticket can be transferred to a different name up to 48 hours prior to the class, however please note all ticket sales are final and tickets are not refundable. In the unlikely situation of a workshop cancellation you will receive a full refund.
Who is the workshop suitable for?
The workshop is suitable for people who are currently publishing social media updates and would like to improve. It is also suitable for beginners who have an understanding of how to upload. Before the class starts I will send a brief questionnaire to understand more about you and your business needs. It would most suit a product, event or service based business and an online publisher, please e-mail me if you are unsure if your business would benefit from attending.
